    I was walking in Sparta when I heard "gather up all the men for the war."
I was scared at first but then I realized that this was during the Persian wars. I immediately asked if I could join the army. They said sure.They looked kind of surprised but took me to the barracks and gave me armor,a spear and a sword. They didn't use horses because they would make a dome of there shields. They told me that I am now a Spartan. I said "Thanks."
     The next morning we received combat training. This was a piece of cake since I had done the same thing for the C.I.A. The commander saw my skills and said with a smile, "you are a commando."
I was moved to a different barracks for the higher ranked. I liked it a lot better. I was surprised to see a girl in here. I guess she made it here because Sparta trained girls. She came up to me and introduced herself,  "Hi I'm Butternut."
"Hi I'm Bo-Yo at your service,"I said. She blushed and went back to her bed. All the other men said, "Ohhhhhhhhhhh."
"Shut up," she said,with a snap. The other men went silent in a heart beat.
The next day we went into battle. We were escorted by our king, Leonidas. I was surprised by how many Persians there were. There was a caboodle of them! The next thing I know there was a rain of arrows coming from both sides. I knew that the traitor had showed them the secret pass, and then realized I forgot my TTI invention.The arrows struck the Spartans like rain strikes the ground. I knew that the only way to be safe was to turn into a rock. I turn into a rock and blended in with the rocky pass. I had to do something so I blocked the way, but I could only slow them down. The Persians went to the pass the traitor showed them and went around to Athens.
