Aidan in China - March 7

Today we took the bus down to a school that started letting the kids at the international school come 2 years ago. It is a boarding school called The Blue Tassel where kids in fifth grade that go to China go and spend 4 days in the school to see what boarding school is like. They have recess after lunch and around 2. When we got there the fifth graders from the international school got out, and they met their buddies for the first time. We went onto the campus and into a room where the kids that came from Portland told about themselves. Then we went to see the kids that came from Portland’s rooms. On the way up we saw signs that said “Good Night.” After we went to the rooms we went to the kids that came from Portland’s class. We went to their class and their teacher. We went back down and had to leave so the kids that came from Portland could go to school.

 We got on the bus and went back to our hotel. We got a little time to go upstairs and set down the stuff that we didn’t need then we went to get sim cards so we could call outside of China. After that we went to a super market to get change. Then we went to the hotel and decided on what to eat. We went to Big Dumpling and got skewers with chicken, Dumplings, and three soups.

 Then we called a cab, and went Wan Jinn and wondered around and went into Nike, dress stores, Tea shops and a place that makes suites a little then ate dinner. For dinner we had Orange Chicken, Duck Head, Green Beans, Pork with Green Beans and Fish. After dinner we went to Hagen-daz and got ice cream. I got Cookie Dough with chocolate shavings and chocolate balls. Then we took a cab back to the hotel and went to sleep.
