Aidan in China - March 5

We went to breakfast and then we went Jing ma tower. We went to the Jing ma tower to do an experiment to see if the elevator was a smooth ride. We went the top of the tower and you can see the whole city from a bird’s eye view. We went to the gift shop and I saw a bunny that I wanted to get for my little sister but my mom said no. We looked through the glass window and looked down and saw half of it which was the hotel part.
After that we went and had hot pot. You get a pot and you put meat and other vegetables. When it boils you can eat the stuff inside. Then you go and get sauce and put you food in your sauce and eat it.
Then we went on the Maglev train. It has a magnetic track that forces it into the air and then makes it go fast. It goes 431 km.  It took use 14 minutes to get to the airport and back. Then we got off and had to ask people why they like the Maglev train. Theo asked a Japanese man and I asked a German man. Other people asked people who were Chinese.
After we went on the train we went shopping on Nanjing Road. It is one of the busiest streets in Shanghai. We went looking for a polarizer. It was a thing for Joe’s dad’s camera. After this we got back on the bus and we went to a dinner place.
We went to eat Mongolian food. You put food in your bowl like lamb, chicken, beef, spinach, wine and sugar sauce. Then you give it to the cooks and they cook it with things that look like big chopsticks. We sat down and ate it then went to bed.
